How to create a database? Print

For Linux hosting customers

1. Login to your control panel via http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel.
2. Type in the cPanel username and password
3. Create Database to use 1. MySQL Databases or 2. MySQL® Database Wizard

3.1   MySQL Databases

1. Type in a dataset name under “Creat New Database” menu and click “Create Database” button to finish.
2. Add user to a Database so the database user can access the database

3.2   MySQL® Database Wizard

1. Type in a database name and click “Next step” button
2. Add user to a Database so the database user can access the database

For window hosting customer

1. Login to your control panel via https://www.yourdomain.com:8443
2. Type in the cPanel username and password
3. Click “Databases” menu on “Websites & Domains” tab
4. Click “Add New Database” button
5. Create a new database user, set a new password and click “OK” button to finish
6. The created database will be listed under “Databases” menu
